Project Kick-off Online Meeting

OptiMathR and UNIMORE AIRI held an online kick-off meeting to align on roles, key milestones, and the overall plan for advancing ORoLoC3D. The session included a short overview of the current prototype, followed by discussions on the main technical directions: improving the optimization approach (MILP/Constraint Programming and heuristic refinements), developing the AI "learn to load" module, accelerating runtime, and completing the productization work (UI/UX, security, packaging, and monitoring).

Key outcomes included agreeing on regular progress update meetings, a shared approach to collecting and using datasets (from both literature and industry), and an initial integration plan for incorporating the research results into the application.

The partners also discussed publication perspectives (including potential paper topics and timelines) and the possibility of research visits to support closer technical collaboration.
